Finance Analyst – FP&A

About the role

The Group Financial Planning team acts as the analytical engine of the business, providing data‑driven insights to support strategic decision‑making across the Group. As a Finance Analyst you will transform financial and operational data into meaningful insights, analyse business performance and communicate key trends to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management.
• Analyse financial and operational KPI data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and planning processes with high‑quality analysis.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand information requirements.
• Challenge assumptions, investigate performance variances and highlight areas needing attention.
• Assist in preparing financial presentations, management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Collaborate on ad‑hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, automation and data quality.

Required profile

• Confident communicator able to challenge constructively.
• Strong attention to detail while keeping the wider business context in view.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive improvements.
• Eager to learn and develop towards broader FP&A and Finance Business Partnering responsibilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Adaptive Planning or Workday Financials.
• Understanding of financial modelling techniques.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
