About the role
We are seeking a Farm Veterinarian to oversee animal health across our swine and layer egg operations in Cebu City. The role involves daily monitoring, disease diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health management.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor animal health.
- Identify and promptly manage sick animals.
- Diagnose diseases through observation and clinical signs.
- Prescribe appropriate treatments based on diagnoses.
- Perform routine and emergency examinations.
- Collect samples for laboratory testing.
- Evaluate disease outbreaks and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor mortality and morbidity rates.
- Administer vaccinations according to protocol.
- Ensure proper feed and water provision and adhere to animal welfare policies.
Required profile
- Graduate of Veterinary Medicine.
- License is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates welcome; no prior poultry experience required.
- Willingness to be trained.
- Strong initiative and problem‑solving skills.
