DevOps Engineer

About the role

DysrupIT is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure for its mid‑market to enterprise clients. You will work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to embed DevOps practices that accelerate delivery and improve system stability.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement DevOps workflows.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Manage and scale cloud environments on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab or similar) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks and monitor application and infrastructure performance with tools such as LogicMonitor.
• Support platform installations, configuration, health monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
• Own incident, problem, and service request records, driving timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Participate in change management processes, including weekly CAB meetings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Ability to work within UK business hours (9‑5) while providing occasional out‑of‑hours support.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders.
