Deputy Project Manager

About the role

The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project/Construction Manager in delivering large‑scale civil and marine infrastructure projects. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project/Construction Manager in overseeing construction sites, contractors, and workers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities, providing technical guidance and supervision.
• Manage each project phase from design through completion, optimizing resources and cost‑effectiveness.
• Lead a team of senior engineers, section engineers, and inspectors to achieve project goals.
• Maintain client communication, attend progress meetings, and provide weekly status updates.
• Develop and control project budgets, change orders, and cost reporting.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified civil/structural engineer.
• At least 10 years of experience in large‑scale civil engineering projects, with 5 years in marine works such as dredging, reclamation, and wharf construction.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
