Dental Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Dental Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a US‑based dental practice. The role is fully remote and involves managing the complete billing cycle, from claim submission to payment posting and AR follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end dental billing and accounts receivable processes.
• Submit insurance claims accurately and track their status.
• Review and resolve unpaid, rejected, or denied claims.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Post insurance and patient payments, reconcile EOBs/ERAs, and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain aging AR reports and prioritize follow‑up.
• Communicate professionally with insurers, patients, and the dental office team.
• Document all billing activities within the practice management system.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on dental billing, insurance, or accounts receivable experience.
• Direct experience working in a dental office or dental practice.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology, claim submission, denials, and AR workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
