Data Analyst – Deposits Portfolio

About the role

As a Data Analyst focused on the deposits portfolio, you will turn raw data into clear analytics that guide how Salmon grows and protects its savings products across Southeast Asia. You will work closely with the product team to define what gets measured and why, delivering insights that influence strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly on the deposits product, collaborating with engineers and product managers to shape measurement frameworks.
• Take business questions end‑to‑end: extract data, perform analysis, and present actionable recommendations.
• Produce recurring portfolio reports and conduct ad‑hoc research, segmentation, and unit‑economics studies.
• Build reporting and analytics on volumes, structure, and dynamics of the deposits portfolio.
• Define product metric trees, funnels, and retention analyses.
• Monitor liquidity and concentration across the portfolio and forecast depositor churn.
• Run customer segmentation and unit‑economics analysis to surface growth drivers.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for the product team.

Required profile

• Proficiency with SQL, including window functions, CTEs, and complex joins.
• Strong grounding in statistics and ability to conduct end‑to‑end investigations.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher for written communication and documentation.
• Analytical maturity that outweighs years of experience.
