About the role
The Credit Policy Officer will ensure that the bank’s Credit Policies Manual remains a robust tool for strengthening credit processes. This role involves regular updates, reviewing related product and operating manuals, and supporting the Sub‑Credit Committee Secretariat.
Key responsibilities
- Review and update the Credit Policies Manual on a regular basis.
- Conduct reviews of product and operating manuals as requested by bank units.
- Assist the Sub‑Credit Committee Secretariat in its functional duties.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, accounting, business, science or mathematics.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in credit risk management or financial/operations audit within a financial institution.
- In‑depth knowledge of credit risk management processes and basic familiarity with BSP’s Manual of Regulations for Banks, especially credit/lending rules.
- Strong analytical, oral and written communication abilities and leadership potential.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
