Construction Estimator & Systems Developer (Remote)

About the role

The Construction Estimator & Systems Developer will prepare highly accurate estimates for exterior construction projects while designing and maintaining the company’s estimating tools and processes. This is a full‑time, permanent remote position working Monday‑Friday, 9 AM‑6 PM EST.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, exterior painting and specialized repairs.
• Review project scopes, site measurements, architectural drawings and technical specifications to develop cost projections for labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Build, maintain and improve Excel‑based estimating templates and dynamic pricing tools for field and sales teams.
• Standardize estimating methodologies across residential and commercial project types.
• Conduct post‑project audits, compare estimated costs to actual job costs and analyze variances.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to refine pricing models and improve profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction estimating and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to audit projects and identify pricing variances.
• Detail‑oriented and process‑driven, capable of developing scalable systems.
• Excellent written communication in English.
