BPO Trainer – GDS & Travel Experience

About the role

We are looking for a skilled BPO Trainer to deliver high‑quality training on Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and travel booking processes. You will work onsite with shifting schedules, supporting both new hires and existing team members in a fast‑paced travel services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clear, engaging training materials and resources tailored to various learning styles.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and group training sessions covering GDS platforms, customer service protocols, and industry best practices.
• Assess trainee performance through practical exercises, role‑plays, and formal assessments.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure continuous skill development.
• Monitor training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics, adjusting programs as needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with GDS platforms, travel industry trends, and customer service standards.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and close performance gaps.
• Document training activities and maintain records of trainee progress.
• Assist in creating standard operating procedures and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Prior experience supporting the Expedia account or program.
• 1–2 years of trainer experience in a BPO environment, preferably with GDS and travel‑industry exposure.
• Experience facilitating training for travel, hospitality, or OTA accounts.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Background in curriculum development, adult learning methodologies, and performance coaching.
• Willingness to work onsite and adapt to shifting schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
