Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant (Dental)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, patient‑focused Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support a busy U.S. dental practice remotely. The role involves front‑desk duties, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks while communicating fluently in English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage a high volume of inbound patient calls professionally.
• Use the Weave platform to handle patient communications and route inquiries.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on appointments, keeping the calendar optimized.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, primarily through Delta Dental.
• Prepare treatment plans with detailed fee breakdowns and communicate financial information.
• Collect co‑payments, create insurance claims, and coordinate with the external billing company.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in dental or healthcare administration.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong phone etiquette and patient‑centric communication style.
• Reliable, proactive, detail‑oriented, and interested in a long‑term remote position.

Required skills

• Dentrix (preferred dental practice management software).
• Weave communication platform.
• Delta Dental insurance verification system.
