Accounting Manager

About the role

MCI, a fast‑growing tech‑enabled business services company, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its remote accounting function. The role involves overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, including general ledger entries, journal postings, and account reconciliations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members to meet accuracy and deadline targets.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare related financial reports.
• Review financial records, perform variance analysis, and ensure data integrity.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders.
