Accountant (Remote, Philippines)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and problem‑solving Accountant ready to assume a high‑impact role in our growing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, including fixed assets, payroll, prepayments, provisions and accruals.
• Arrange monthly intercompany recharges, confirmations and settlements.
• Maintain the fixed assets register.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and investigate unusual items.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet schedules, reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly GST/VAT/WHT reporting and reconciliation reports.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements for assigned entities.
• Prepare corporate tax information for tax agents and support filing.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors for the annual audit.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and develop new procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with other business units to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist Group Finance with ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least three years of full‑set accounting experience.
• Understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS).
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and accuracy.
• Analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Independent work style with minimal supervision.
• Hands‑on accounting experience handling high volumes of transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (Oracle Fusion is a plus) and Microsoft Excel.
