Account Services Officer – Nightshift

About the role

The Account Services Officer works the night shift to ensure smooth onboarding, maintenance, and servicing of customer accounts in a branch environment. The role combines customer interaction, compliance checks, and custodial duties to support the bank’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new customers by performing KYC, verifying identity documents, and creating profiles in the Core Banking System (CBS).
• Prepare and release passbooks, chequebooks, debit cards and time‑deposit certificates as required.
• Maintain and update customer information, conduct enhanced due diligence, and generate end‑of‑day reports.
• Safekeep account opening documents, cheques and other accountable forms in a fire‑proof cabinet/vault.
• Handle customer inquiries via branch, email or phone, resolve complaints and manage bounced‑cheque processes.
• Participate in system UAT/UVT, business continuity activities and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Banking, Finance or a related business field.
• Minimum three years of experience in banking, teller services or branch operations.
• Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, AML/CTF requirements and customer due‑diligence procedures.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to strict compliance standards.
