Account Manager – Construction & Fit‑Out Sector

About the role

The Account Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the architectural, engineering, construction and interior fit‑out industries. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will guide projects from initial briefing through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships, serving as the main liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct client meetings to capture project requirements, scope, budget and timelines.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the construction, architecture and fit‑out sectors.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and cost estimates in coordination with estimating, design and engineering teams.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms and agreements with clients.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement and project management teams to ensure accurate execution of client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular updates on schedules, deliverables and milestones.
• Handle variation orders, change requests and contract amendments, securing necessary approvals.
• Address client concerns promptly and resolve project‑related issues.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and account updates for management and achieve assigned sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, architectural services, engineering, interior fit‑out or project sales.
• Proven B2B sales, account management or business development experience within the construction or fit‑out industry.
• Strong client management, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to understand and discuss architectural, engineering and construction project requirements.
• Goal‑oriented, proactive and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
