Travel Counselor (French Bilingual)

About the role

American Express is seeking a French‑bilingual Travel Counselor to join its Global Servicing team in the Philippines. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality travel and concierge support during after‑hours operations, helping customers with bookings, changes, disruptions, and lifestyle requests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide travel and concierge assistance across multiple channels during after‑hours shifts.
• Handle a wide range of requests, including bookings, itinerary changes, and disruption management.
• Offer personalized recommendations and create tailored travel experiences.
• Resolve complex issues independently with minimal escalation.
• Maintain service continuity and meet performance targets for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum high school education.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
• Experience in a contact‑center or shared‑services environment.
• Strong multitasking, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Eligibility to work in the Philippines without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sabre GDS (training provided).
• TICO certification (company will cover cost if not held).
• OPC certification (company will cover cost if not held).
• High computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
