Team Lead – Training (Travel Operations)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Trainer to lead our training function for a premium corporate travel account. In this role you will design, deliver and continuously improve training programs that enable our travel operations team to provide high‑quality airline reservation services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver new‑hire, refresher and process training for travel operations.
• Provide coaching, floor support and live monitoring during nesting and post‑training phases.
• Maintain and cascade up‑to‑date training materials, SOPs and policy documents.
• Conduct regular knowledge checks, identify gaps and create remedial action plans.
• Lead performance‑improvement initiatives for low‑performing agents.
• Mentor junior trainers and training assistants.
• Support employee engagement, retention and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience delivering process training in a travel, airline or GDS environment.
• 3–4 years of overall experience in travel operations, preferably in airline reservations support.
• Strong working knowledge of Amadeus and airline reservation workflows.
• Background in ticketing, fare changes and itinerary support (domestic and international).
• Experience in performance coaching and training delivery, preferably in a BPO setting.

Required skills

• Amadeus (GDS) proficiency.
• Airline reservation system expertise.
