Tax Specialist

About the role

The Moment Group is looking for a Tax Specialist to join its finance team in Makati City. This full-time position will ensure the company meets all tax obligations while providing strategic tax guidance to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including income tax, VAT and other statutory filings.
• Research and analyze tax regulations to identify planning opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Provide tax advisory support to finance, operations and legal departments.
• Monitor changes in Philippine tax laws and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax compliance with corporate strategy.
• Assist in tax audits and act as liaison with tax authorities.
• Mentor and train junior tax staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a tax-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software and related tools.
