Tax Compliance Officer

About the role

The Tax Compliance Officer will ensure that our organization meets all tax obligations across local, regional, and international jurisdictions. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to maintain accurate tax records and support strategic tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate, VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
• Monitor legislative changes and evaluate their impact on the business.
• Conduct internal tax audits and reviews of tax-related processes.
• Liaise with tax authorities during audits, inquiries, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors as needed.
• Provide guidance on tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Support tax provisioning and reporting during financial closings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in tax compliance, preferably in a corporate or advisory environment.
• Experience interacting with tax authorities and handling audits.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
