Senior Tax Accountant (Remote, Philippines)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its North American tax compliance team. This fully remote, full‑time role supports US‑based clients from the Philippines, handling complex tax returns and guiding junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare moderate to complex Form 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040 federal and state tax returns.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare extensions, quarterly estimates, and book‑to‑tax reconciliations using standard workpaper templates.
• Respond to tax notices and assessments from federal and state authorities.
• Apply and report complex asset depreciation rules across client filings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience in US taxation.
• College degree with a strong focus on accounting or tax courses.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client‑facing skills.
• Positive attitude, strong time‑management, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCH Axcess.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with CCH Engagement (trial balances, tax return linking).
• Experience using tax research tools.
