Senior Equipment Technician

About the role

Littelfuse is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician to support engineering activities in a fast‑paced industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves interpreting schematics, diagrams and verbal instructions to test, troubleshoot and verify equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting of moderately complex equipment (≈65% of time).
• Assist engineers with design, construction, modification, fabrication and assembly of components (≈15%).
• Determine methods to remedy malfunctions and recommend corrective actions (≈15%).
• Follow established safety and quality procedures to ensure accurate results (≈5%).
• Support additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate degree or two‑year technical/trade degree (preferred).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Hands‑on use of oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Familiarity with test programs and specialized test apparatus.
