Roads Drafter – Engineering Design

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Roads Drafter to create detailed design outputs for transport infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers and designers to produce accurate plans, sections, and construction documentation that support sustainable road solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update technical drawings and documentation in line with project standards.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and quality assurance for the design team.
• Produce 2D and 3D documentation using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Assist with digital project setup and streamline documentation workflows.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design information is accurate and integrated.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proven experience in road project design and drawing production.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high‑quality drawings.
• Australian project experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• Experience with Civil 3D for 3D documentation.
