Remote Paralegal

About the role

Our client, a leading Arizona litigation firm, is seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Paralegal to support its on‑shore paralegal team and supervising attorneys. The role focuses on commercial litigation and collections, providing comprehensive legal and administrative assistance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of commercial litigation, from pre‑suit through trial and appeal, including drafting and proofreading complaints, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas and stipulations.
• Prepare and organize exhibits, binders and supporting documentation for hearings, depositions and trial.
• Support the commercial collections department by drafting pleadings, tracking case status, and preparing correspondence to debtors and courts.
• Maintain accurate case files, monitor court deadlines, statute of limitations and hearing dates using the firm’s docketing system.
• Flag upcoming deadlines to supervising attorneys and ensure timely filing of all required documents.
• Provide discovery support, including document review and preparation of discovery responses.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and commercial collections processes.
• Excellent written communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
