Relationship Manager - Business Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Relationship Manager for Business Banking to generate new commercial loans, grow an existing loan portfolio and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services. The role focuses on building lasting relationships with corporate clients while maintaining asset quality and meeting profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and on‑site inspections, and recommend credit facilities based on business analysis, financial capacity, management competence and collateral.
• Identify and target credit‑worthy accounts, market bank products, and tailor financial packages to client needs.
• Increase market share and revenue while improving loan‑portfolio quality.
• Perform annual reviews of existing credit facilities to ensure suitability and develop deeper relationships with prime accounts.
• Drive deposit growth, collateral business and overall account profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or Commerce; MBA or MA preferred.
• At least two years of banking experience or five years in a related industry.
• Knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank policies, and credit approval processes.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
