Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor will support the QA team in maintaining high quality standards across all stages of production. This role involves inspecting raw materials, conducting in‑line and laboratory tests, and ensuring that finished products meet regulatory and company specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw and packaging materials.
• Perform in‑line inspections from ingredient preparation to finished goods.
• Conduct finished product analysis and laboratory testing, including microbial analysis.
• Carry out batch testing before material usage in production.
• Execute audits across production areas, including ISO and SGS audits.
• Prepare detailed reports and review them with QA and other departments.
• Assist in supervising main and toll manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate and supervise QA activities for in‑process verification and product validation.
• Approve release of incoming materials, in‑process products, and finished goods for distribution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry.
• Advanced knowledge of baking and food science technology.
• Proficiency in microbial and laboratory analysis.
• Experience with ISO and SGS audits is an advantage.
• Strong ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Willingness to be assigned to LIIP, Mamplasan, Binan, Laguna.
