Project Manager (SaaS Startup)

About the role

We are looking for an execution‑driven Project Manager to join an early‑stage music technology SaaS company. The role will bring structure, accountability, and operational excellence to a fast‑moving startup environment, helping the team deliver high‑impact features on time.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, optimise, and maintain project management systems (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Trello).
• Create a single source of truth for projects, workflows, timelines, and deliverables.
• Run daily and weekly sprint cycles, ensuring clear priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Track deliverables, proactively follow up on delays, and remove blockers.
• Conduct daily check‑ins, document action items, and ensure follow‑through.
• Anticipate risks, flag bottlenecks early, and plan to prevent operational disruption.
• Report progress to stakeholders and align teams with the strategic plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Operations Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role in a SaaS or early‑stage startup.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning, and fast‑paced product workflows.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to build systems and processes from scratch.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to hold team members accountable.
• Highly proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Experience with distributed or remote teams is preferred.
