Procurement Specialist – Raw Ingredients

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist focusing on raw ingredients, you will lead sourcing activities for specialty chemical materials used in cosmetics, personal care and fragrance products across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive cost savings, manage supply risk and ensure compliance with quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from supplier selection through contract negotiation.
• Manage supplier relationships, track performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize costs, pricing and supply timelines to support sourcing operations.
• Collaborate on projects that improve efficiency, reduce risk and enhance supply continuity.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, contracts and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years procurement or sourcing experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Specialty chemicals knowledge.
• Familiarity with REACH and other regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of leaping bunny certification (advantage).
