Off-Boarding Officer

About the role

The Off-Boarding Officer will manage the complete separation process for employees leaving Union Bank of the Philippines, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for separated or retired staff, handling inquiries, payments, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve inquiries from separated/retired employees within defined turnaround times.
• Initiate and coordinate clearance notices with relevant units.
• Compute and process final salary, benefits, and separation pay for regular, project‑hire, and retired staff.
• Prepare and route off‑boarding documents such as summary sheets, employee clearance certificates, quitclaims, BIR Form 2316, and retirement memos.
• Submit monthly separation status summary reports and monitor service delivery against SLAs.
• Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accurate computations.
• Maintain team dashboards and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with BSP, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience, preferably with an accounting background.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory regulations.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and documentation skills.
• Adaptability and a mindset focused on process improvement.
