Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on HVAC systems to join Jacobs’ engineering and design team in the Philippines. You will contribute to the design, analysis and delivery of mechanical solutions for a variety of projects, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and detail HVAC system designs, perform cooling load calculations and size equipment.
• Produce construction drawings, datasheets and specifications in accordance with local and international codes.
• Lead small‑scale projects or act as sub‑lead on larger assignments, ensuring all mechanical activities are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems and resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews, material take‑offs and cost assessments.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with HVAC design and relevant Philippine and international mechanical codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork across disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and take on leadership responsibilities.
