Income Auditor

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Makati is building a new 5‑star luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2026. The pre‑opening finance team is looking for a detail‑oriented Income Auditor to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all revenue streams from day one of operations.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile daily revenue reports across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other outlets.
• Conduct daily income audits by reviewing guest folios, POS transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and irregularities in revenue reporting.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit procedures, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with Front Office, F&B, and other operational departments to capture accurate revenue.
• Support the Chief Accountant in establishing audit processes and controls during the pre‑opening phase.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in income auditing or general accounting within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong understanding of hotel systems and revenue auditing processes.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
