Design Engineer – EV Charging Stations

About the role

Greenstrum Inc., a member of ACMobility, is seeking a Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electric vehicle (EV) charging station projects from concept through commissioning. The role places you at the heart of the Philippines’ sustainable mobility transition, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient charging infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and evaluate locations to guarantee optimal, safe, and code‑compliant EV charging stations.
• Create detailed design layouts based on demand forecasts, power requirements, and customer specifications while integrating energy‑efficient practices.
• Oversee project timelines, scope, and budgets, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage testing and commissioning activities, confirming adherence to local and international standards, including the Philippine Electrical Code.
• Collaborate with Operations, Installation, Product Engineering, DOE, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) status.
• Minimum five years of experience in infrastructure, EV, power systems, or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code and related regulations.
• Proven track record in design engineering and project management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
