Design Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to develop and deliver high‑quality engineering designs for construction projects. You will create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and Australian stakeholders to meet safety, quality and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering designs, including 2D CAD drawings and 3D models, for a variety of construction projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Australian stakeholders to ensure designs comply with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret technical requirements, incorporate project changes, and maintain accurate design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the design of temporary works, scaffolding and formwork as part of the overall construction solution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least three years of experience in the construction industry.
• Hands‑on experience with temporary works, scaffolding or formwork design.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong 3D modelling capabilities.
