Construction Engineer (On-site)

About the role

MAC Builders is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Engineer to join its Davao team. The role involves designing, analyzing and delivering construction projects that meet client requirements while complying with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical plans and detailed engineering drawings for construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Manage project timelines, coordinate with contractors and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including architects, project managers and field staff, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure all quality and safety standards are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in project design, technical planning and structural engineering.
• Experience in project management and timeline coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Knowledge of construction standards, compliance regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and emerging construction technologies is advantageous.
