Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Workstreet is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help clients design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. The role blends technical expertise with client relationship management to improve cloud security posture and ensure compliance with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security best practices across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Assess client cloud infrastructures for risks, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities, providing remediation guidance.
• Configure and manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and identity solutions.
• Support compliance initiatives such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA through control implementation and testing.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code scripts to automate security controls.
• Conduct architecture and configuration reviews to ensure secure design.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and assist with incident response.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of cloud security clients, guiding them through assessments, implementations, and ongoing optimization.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud security engineering in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and remediate security issues.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
