Business Development Manager - China / Vietnam / Philippines

About the role

dwp., an architecture and interior design firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in China, Vietnam or the Philippines. The role focuses on building a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, forging strategic relationships and converting projects into partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors such as real estate, hospitality and design.
• Establish and nurture relationships with developers, design consultants, hotel operators, asset owners and other strategic partners.
• Create and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear conversion targets.
• Lead the full business development cycle from prospecting to negotiation and project award.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategy, reporting and execution of opportunities.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, sectors and potential clients.
• Increase dwp.’s visibility and positioning in the assigned market.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events and industry functions.
• Prepare regular reports on pipeline status, market intelligence and business development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, client acquisition or strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in building and converting high‑value pipelines.
• Professional proficiency in the local market language and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Existing professional network in relevant industries is a plus.
