Building Engineer

About the role

The Building Engineer will supervise the operation of all mall equipment and utilities, ensuring safe and efficient performance. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety) systems while guaranteeing compliance with government regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of mall equipment and utilities.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for MEPFS systems.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements, and upgrades of building infrastructure.
• Ensure the mall complies with all relevant government and local agency standards.
• Act as the designated Pollution Control Officer, overseeing environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional engineering license in the relevant field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in building, facilities, or property management.
• Experience in environmental management or previous role as a Pollution Control Officer is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety) systems.
