Assembly Operator

About the role

The Assembly Operator works on the production floor of onsemi’s semiconductor manufacturing line, operating equipment and performing assigned tasks to maximise throughput while maintaining high quality, yield and cycle‑time standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow semiconductor assembly and test requirements such as ESD control, 5S, and clean‑room standards, reporting any issues promptly.
• Operate production equipment or perform manual tasks according to work instructions and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with IATF16949 and EHS manuals and support the line coordinator in meeting production targets.
• Identify, handle, and correctly use raw and auxiliary materials and tools to promote efficient, cost‑effective manufacturing.
• Participate in TPM activities and other continuous‑improvement initiatives on the line.
• Complete production worksheets accurately to document work results.
• Perform any additional temporary tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 2‑year technical program, senior high school, or at least two years of college education (middle‑school certificate minimum).
• Technical certificate preferred.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or shift work is an advantage.
