Art and Design Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Art and Design Teacher to deliver an international curriculum to secondary students. The successful candidate will inspire creativity while maintaining high academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in graphic design, visual communication, and art theory following IB, Cambridge or Pearson frameworks.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other faculty to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, exhibitions, and parent‑teacher meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Fluent in spoken and written English (IELTS ≥ 6.5, TOEFL IBT ≥ 90, or CEFR B2+).
• Experience teaching with an international curriculum (IB, Cambridge, Pearson).
• Alignment with the school’s Christian values and willingness to work in Surabaya.
