Accountant – Remote Finance & Accounting Position

About the role

Attivo Partners is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its remote finance team. You will support venture‑backed startup clients by handling core accounting functions and ensuring their financial reporting scales with rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with the monthly close by posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations and conducting ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with client teams to deliver high‑quality service and accurate work products.
• Support special projects and ad‑hoc assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, or Carta.
