Tax Consultant – Australian Tax Advisory (Hybrid, Makati)

About the role

As a Tax Consultant you will support complex Australian tax matters for multinational clients, ranging from corporate restructures to cross‑border transactions. The role combines technical advisory work with strategic insight, helping organisations optimise their tax position while complying with Australian tax law.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian tax returns and draft technical advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and provide advice on GST, indirect tax and complex tax issues.
• Support structuring, cross‑border transactions, asset acquisitions, divestments, financing and IPO tax matters.
• Liaise with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) on reviews, audits and dispute resolutions.
• Apply legislative updates to client engagements and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of Australian tax advisory or consulting experience.
• Background in Australian public practice accounting.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CTA qualified or currently pursuing.
• Strong communication, presentation and technical advisory skills.
• Analytical, proactive and solutions‑driven mindset.
