About the role

Join Emapta Philippines as an Australian Tax Advisor and work on complex cross‑border tax projects that influence multinational business decisions. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with occasional on‑site collaboration in Makati.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian tax returns and technical advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and draft advice on Australian tax, GST, and complex tax matters.
• Support structuring, cross‑border transactions, and indirect tax advisory work.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing, and IPO tax matters.
• Liaise with the ATO on reviews, audits, and dispute matters.
• Apply legislative updates and tax changes to client engagements.
• Contribute to technical tax knowledge‑sharing and advisory updates.
• Review and organize client records and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of Australian tax advisory or tax consulting experience.
• Background in Australian public‑practice accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Tax Law, GST, and Accounting Standards.
• Exposure to structuring, indirect tax, and cross‑border transactions.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CTA qualified or pursuing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical advisory skills.
• Analytical, proactive, and solutions‑driven mindset.
