Structural Design Engineer – Global Excellence Centre

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join its Global Excellence Centre (GEC). The role supports the delivery of engineering solutions for clients worldwide, collaborating with teams in India, Romania, the Philippines and other Arcadis offices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out activities to develop and implement engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with project standards and codes.
• Provide substantial technical input for a single discipline on smaller or less complex tasks within larger projects.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with clients, regional offices and other GEC teams to produce engineering deliverables.
• Lead project teams, conduct training for junior members, and automate design processes and workflows.
• Ensure the correctness and quality of all project deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑6 years of professional experience in structural engineering, preferably within a design consultancy.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree advantageous) and a professional engineering licence preferred.
• Experience with large‑scale infrastructure or metro projects is a plus.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to participate in safe‑design processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, Robot, TEDDS, Tekla Structures or SCIA.
• Knowledge of BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks (advantageous).
• Programming/scripting experience in C++, Python or Dynamo (advantageous).
