Structural Design Engineer – Advanced Analysis & Site Support

About the role

The Structural Design Engineer will lead advanced structural analysis and produce construction‑ready designs for concrete, steel, and composite structures. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and site teams to ensure safe, buildable solutions that meet all project specifications and codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and engineering drawings for building and infrastructure projects.
• Lead structural modeling and analysis using ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
• Integrate geotechnical data for foundation and substructure design.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards (NSCP, ACI, AISC) and company quality procedures.
• Provide technical assistance on‑site, review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Respond to RFIs, site instructions, and technical queries in a timely manner.
• Conduct structural site inspections to verify compliance and workmanship quality.
• Coordinate with Construction, Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, architects, and MEP engineers to resolve design clashes.
• Prepare structural reports, as‑built documentation, and calculations for permits and approvals.
• Lead design tasks, mentor junior engineers and CAD/BIM staff, and support cost estimating.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC or equivalent); additional certifications such as ASEAN Engineer or PE/SE are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design and construction support, preferably in design‑build, EPC, or contractor environments.
