Strategy and Investment Research Manager

About the role

Dedale is seeking a Strategy and Investment Research Manager to lead research and data product development on software and technology companies. You will manage a growing team of analysts, deliver high‑quality insights for multi‑million investments, and interact directly with high‑profile investors and entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead in‑depth fundamental research and strategic due diligence on public and private software and technology companies.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates, overseeing regular monitoring of target companies and screening of new opportunities.
• Develop quantitative models and qualitative insights through expert interviews and data analysis.
• Produce deliverables that support investment decisions, including financial research, strategic screening, and communication materials for fund managers and family offices.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to enhance research workflows and methodologies.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in strategy, research, consulting, or related business roles, with internships in finance, tech, or startups.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, comfortable with advanced Excel and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and slide development.
• Strategic thinker capable of synthesizing information and making data‑driven recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across seniority levels.
