Software Engineer – Employee Benefits Platform

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a new project that will build an automated Employee Benefits Management Platform. The platform will centralize, calculate, track and manage employee benefits across the organization, improving accuracy and efficiency of benefits processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain software applications for the benefits platform.
• Design and implement features that automate benefits calculations and related workflows.
• Create and maintain databases, queries, stored procedures and other components using MS SQL Server.
• Build and integrate web applications and APIs with .NET Core, Web API and C#.
• Develop responsive, user‑friendly interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and system needs.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Ensure applications are reliable, scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Support integration of benefits data with payroll and accounting systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient with MS SQL Server and database development.
• Strong technical knowledge of .NET Core, Web API, C#, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
• Experience developing payroll, employee benefits or HR‑related tools, especially automated calculations.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and database architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and solve problems analytically.
• Capability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
