Senior Tax Consultant – Business & Tax Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Adviser to join our Business & Tax Advisory team in Makati. The role supports Australian tax and accounting engagements for a leading Big 4 client, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of Australian entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with Australian requirements.
• Develop workpapers and supporting documentation for senior review.
• Process journals and accounting entries within client accounting systems.
• Communicate with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on client matters and payment arrangements.
• Review, organize and analyse client documentation and financial information.
• Assist with tax research, technical analysis and advice preparation.
• Support engagement planning, project management and delivery activities.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in Australian tax, accounting or related public‑practice environment.
• CA, CPA, CA‑equivalent or Part‑CA qualification (completed or in progress).
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Commerce or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building and presentation abilities.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and proactive attitude.

What we offer

• Competitive salary PHP 80,000 – 110,000 per month (≈ USD 1,400 – 1,930).
• Sign‑on bonus equivalent to two months’ salary.
