About the role
We are seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to support our telecom operations. The role requires a hands‑on engineer who can understand, document, stabilize, and continuously improve a complex production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Linux‑based firewall clusters, routing infrastructure and VPN services.
- Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere hosts and manage iSCSI/NFS storage solutions.
- Design and execute backup and restore plans, and perform incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, cron jobs and documentation for the entire infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, secure network services for US and EU operations.
Required profile
- Senior‑level experience in Linux system administration and network security.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across systems, networking and storage.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Linux system administration
- BGP routing and multihomed network environments
- Juniper, Brocade or Riverstone router configuration
- VPN technologies (WireGuard, IPSec)
- VMware ESXi / vSphere
- iSCSI and NFS storage, Dell MD storage systems
- Backup and restore planning
- Shell scripting, automation, cron jobs
- Network troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, tshark, traceroute, ping, netstat)
- Incident response and root‑cause analysis
