Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud Delivery)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud delivery initiatives. The role focuses on building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure on Azure and, where needed, AWS, while ensuring security and reliability across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation/orchestration solutions to support scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for PowerShell, YAML, ARM and JSON templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Set up and configure new development tools and environments.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs and code.
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Review and test code from peers, providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure systems are protected against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify and resolve IaC issues quickly, delivering updates and fixes.
• Participate in project planning and management decisions.
• Diagnose complex server or service outages and performance degradations.
• Represent Cloud Delivery in problem‑management meetings.
• Implement operational changes to maintain service integrity and restore degraded systems.
• Deploy new services for internal and external cloud delivery projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platforms.
• Mandatory Azure experience; AWS experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs such as ServiceNow and Azure Graph.
• Familiarity with service management processes, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with Git‑based source control.
