Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that all raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. Working closely with production and R&D teams, the specialist supports compliance with sanitation, GMP and regulatory requirements while maintaining product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test raw materials, in‑process materials and finished products.
• Conduct daily pre‑operative and in‑process audits to verify sanitation and GMP compliance.
• Participate in internal quality audits to assess adherence to documented standards and procedures.
• Collect samples and perform analyses in accordance with government regulations.
• Identify and report deviations in ingredients, products or processes.

Required profile

• Registered Food Technologist.
• Experience in meat inspection, sensory evaluation and line audits within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, regulatory and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
