Project Manager – Peacebuilding (Cotabato)

About the role

UNDP Philippines is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Peacebuilding Cluster in Cotabato City. The incumbent will oversee day‑to‑day operations of multiple peacebuilding initiatives in the Bangsamoro region, coordinating with UN agencies, government, donors and civil‑society partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day financial and administrative support to ensure optimal utilization of project funds.
• Develop, monitor and update action plans, identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Prepare progress reports, donor reports, technical documents and briefing papers.
• Organise workshops, needs assessments and consultations, providing technical inputs as required.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, UN, donor agencies, NGOs and community groups.
• Coordinate with UNDP programme and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient delivery of project activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing development projects, preferably in peacebuilding, conflict prevention or CVE.
• Strong analytical, planning and implementation skills with the ability to work across multiple sectors and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff and coordinate multi‑partner initiatives.
• Knowledge of gender, youth and Indigenous Peoples empowerment and Women, Peace and Security agenda.
