Project Director

About the role

The Project Director will lead multiple high‑risk, mission‑critical projects that support key business initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several complex projects and cross‑functional teams simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain processes that guarantee cost‑efficient delivery and compliance with targets.
• Define team roles, set performance standards, provide coaching, and evaluate results.
• Coordinate work‑group plans to keep overall project objectives on track.
• Raise and resolve project issues at appropriate levels and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with business users to assess feasibility, define requirements, and establish effort estimates.
• Direct analysis and design activities to ensure solutions meet management and business needs.
• Conduct project reviews to assure quality, adherence to standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan staff development and maintain up‑to‑date technical expertise in assigned domains.
• Contribute to Project Management standards and deliver training when required.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders, vendors, and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in application systems design, analysis, development, and maintenance (mainframe, mid‑range, or micro‑computer environments).
• Experience in banking operations.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud‑based platforms.
